TouchWin HMI panels require a dedicated USB driver to enable for project download/upload via USB (Type A to Type B or USB Device port). Windows 10, particularly versions 20H2 and later, does not natively include this driver. Without the correct driver, the HMI is either not detected or appears as an “Unknown Device” in Device Manager, preventing firmware updates, screen transfer, and data backup.
