Sacd Ripper Version 0.21 Fixed Jun 2026

In January 2011, the hacking group fail0verflow revealed they had extracted the root keys for the PS3. This allowed homebrew software to be signed and run on firmware version 3.55. Shortly after, the team behind sacd-ripper (notably MrWicked and Sapphire) leveraged this exploit to directly access the SACD drive’s raw DSD data stream.
