The "Neu" exam is more communicative than the old one. The old glossary contained words like Reisepass (passport) and Anmeldeformular (registration form). The new glossary adds digital communication terms ( E-Mail-Anhang , Passwort ) and modern work-life vocabulary. If you use an old B1 list, you will miss 15-20% of the new exam content.
