Verified: Shagun Episode 1

The episode opens with a close-up shot of a gold-plated cage. Inside the cage is a parrot. The camera pulls back to reveal Shagun staring at the parrot from her bedroom window. It is a heavy-handed but effective metaphor. Shagun tells the parrot, “Tum bhi mere jaisi ho. Har cheez hai, par udd nahi sakte.” (You are like me. You have everything, but you cannot fly.)
