One of the film's quiet technical achievements is the rendering of Oscar’s (Will Smith) skin. He’s a cleaner fish, but his texture is almost velvety. In HD, you can see the individual pixel-level bumps and the way light reflects off his iridescent sides. Similarly, the contrast between the sleek, rubbery skin of Lenny (Jack Black) and the rough, scarred hide of Don Lino (Robert De Niro) is stark and impressive.
