X-men-apocalypse – Certified & Limited

While the older mutants struggle, the film’s greatest asset is the introduction of the younger X-Men. We finally get a proper, screen-dominating performance from (following the prologue cameo in Days of Future Past ). Tye Sheridan plays a skeptical, lonely Cyclops, and Kodi Smit-McPhee steals scenes as a wonderfully awkward Nightcrawler.

When X-Men: Apocalypse hit theaters in 2016, the reception was, to put it mildly, seismic for all the wrong reasons. Critics called it "overstuffed." Fans debated the look of the titular villain.
