Matara Badu — Number

According to legend, a 10th-century Buddhist astrologer known as Revata Matara observed that the tidal patterns of the Indian Ocean, combined with the harvest cycles of paddy fields, created a repeating economic "surplus"—or Badu . He calculated that every 1,089 days (roughly three years), the economic forces of the region would reset, creating a window for spiritual cleansing.
