Pegg, known for Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz , brought a live-wire energy to the booth. He reportedly improvised several of Buck’s manic rants, including the famous: "I’m gonna jump! I’m gonna do it! …Okay, I’ve changed my mind." The animators leaned into the craziness, giving Buck hyper-expressive body language—wide eye (singular), twitching tail, constant motion. He’s the only character who seems aware he’s in an action movie.
