V3.7.4 -gog-: Stellaris

If you are looking for the "meat" of what this version represents, it includes everything added in the 3.7 series: Archaeotechnologies

This is the real star. Unlike the Steam version, the GOG release of 3.7.4 is DRM-free . You can install it on a laptop, a desktop, and a backup drive without logging into a launcher. The Paradox Launcher is still there (sigh), but you can bypass it entirely by launching the .exe directly. No forced updates means if you love this meta, you can freeze it forever. All DLCs up to First Contact (released March 2023) work flawlessly with v3.7.4. DLCs released after v3.7.4 ( Galactic Paragons , Astral Planes ) are and will either be ignored by the game or cause startup errors. If you own these newer DLCs on GOG, you must roll back to v3.7.4; the game simply won't load the newer assets. If you are looking for the "meat" of
