The TeknoGods forums (still accessible via the Internet Archive) housed thousands of threads dedicated to server configs, map editing, and troubleshooting NAT errors. At its peak in 2012–2014, the 2.7.0.1 server list averaged over 1,500 active servers daily.
In the launcher:
