The story begins when Dante and Randal get a restraining order against Jay and Silent Bob, preventing them from selling drugs outside the Quick Stop . Desperate for purpose, they learn that Miramax is making a big-budget movie based on Bluntman and Chronic , a comic book inspired by them.
