Apocalipsis Z (2007) is a landmark novel in modern Spanish horror literature. What makes its origin unique is that it began as a ("El Diario de un Superviviente") written by Manel Loureiro, a lawyer and journalist from Pontevedra, Spain. The blog’s raw, real-time style gained a massive online following, leading to a self-published edition, then a commercial release. Its success led to two sequels ( Los Días Oscuros and La Ira de los Justos ), collectively known as the Apocalipsis Z trilogy.
