Black Ops 1 Widescreen Fix [updated] -
You might think, "I’ll just go into Settings > Graphics > Resolution." You change it to 3440x1440. You click apply. The screen flashes... and reverts.
If you have launched Black Ops on a 21:9, 32:9, or even a standard 1440p or 4K 16:9 display, you have seen the horror. On 21:9, horizontal FOV is roughly 1.3x your vertical FOV. A setting of cg_fov "95" on 21:9 feels exactly like cg_fov "80" on 16:9. You might think, "I’ll just go into Settings
