Euro Truck Simulator 2, commonly referred to as ETS2, has been a staple in the trucking simulation genre since its release in 2012. Developed by SCS Software, this game has captured the hearts of millions of players worldwide with its engaging gameplay, realistic graphics, and attention to detail. Over the years, the game has received numerous updates, expansions, and DLCs, which have continuously improved and expanded the game's features.
SCS has adjusted the "center of mass" calculations. Heavy cargoes (tractors, bulldozers) now cause visible frame flex. The truck feels "heavy" when braking downhill. Air suspension sounds (hissing) have been added to the default SCS truck interiors.
If the base game isn't enough, many players use specific mods to achieve a "deep" or hyper-realistic look in 1.50:
