At its simplest, the Eurotax API is a RESTful web service that allows third-party software systems to programmatically access the Eurotax automotive database. Instead of a human typing a license plate into a web portal, a computer can send a request (e.g., VIN number) to the API and receive a structured response (e.g., current market value, horsepower, CO2 emissions) in milliseconds.
