Vlc 4.0 Beta Jun 2026

VideoLAN has announced that VLC 4.0 final will likely arrive in late 2025 (subject to change). The beta cycle usually lasts 6–9 months. Planned for 4.0 final (but not yet in beta):

The most immediate change is the visual overhaul. Gone is the classic, somewhat dated grey interface. In its place: vlc 4.0 beta
