: Over time, the saved list of active "peers" becomes obsolete. Users can force a refresh by deleting the gnutella.net file located in the user's application data folder (e.g., %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\LimeWire2 ). LimeWire will automatically recreate this file and attempt to download a fresh list of active peers upon restart.
The Gnutella network is sparse. If you connect with default settings, you will only find 5 peers. You need to force-feed LWPE a list of current hosts.
