EmuELEC is a specialized Linux distribution designed specifically for and certain Rockchip systems-on-a-chip (SoC) to provide an optimized retro gaming experience. It transforms standard Android TV boxes and select handheld consoles into dedicated emulation machines by booting from an SD card or replacing the internal operating system.
