The new setup has the same Product Code but different Product Version (or file differences) that Windows Installer cannot reconcile.

InstallShield’s QuickPatch feature allows you to patch a single file without changing the Product Code. However, you cannot uninstall the patch separately—it merges into the product. Use sparingly. installshield product code
