Technique Ppt !!link!! — Kapandji
Kapandji technique , also known as intrafocal pinning , is a percutaneous surgical method used to reduce and stabilize specific types of distal radius fractures. First described by Adalbert Kapandji in 1976, the technique uses Kirschner wires (K-wires) as "joysticks" or levers inserted directly into the fracture site to pry fragments into an anatomical position before securing them into the opposite cortex. PubMed Central (PMC) (.gov) 1. Indications and Contraindications The technique is primarily designed for unstable, extra-articular distal radius fractures where closed reduction and casting are insufficient. Clinical Gate Ideal Indications: Extra-articular fractures (e.g., Colles' fracture) with good bone stock. Younger patients with minimal comminution. Fractures that are easily reducible by closed means. Contraindications: Significant intra-articular displacement or severe comminution. Poor bone quality or severe osteoporosis (high risk of pin migration or loss of reduction). Fractures with volar (palmar) cortical comminution. It looks like you're looking for a PowerPoint presentation (PPT) on the Kapandji technique (used in orthopedic surgery, particularly for distal radius fractures or thumb arthrodesis). I can’t directly send you a .ppt file, but I can help you in two ways:
Provide a detailed outline you can quickly copy into PowerPoint. Explain what to search for to find an existing downloadable PPT.
Option 1: Ready-to-Use PowerPoint Outline (Copy & Paste) You can create a 10-slide presentation in 5 minutes using this structure: Slide 1: Title kapandji technique ppt
The Kapandji Technique Indications & Surgical Steps (Your Name / Date)
Slide 2: History & Origin
Developed by Adalbert Kapandji (French surgeon, 1980s) Originally for distal radius fractures (intra-focal pinning) Later adapted for thumb metacarpophalangeal (MCP) arthrodesis Kapandji technique , also known as intrafocal pinning
Slide 3: Core Principle
Intra-focal pinning : K-wires inserted directly into the fracture site Wires are used as levers to reduce the fracture Provides stable fixation without external fixation
Slide 4: Indications
Dorsally displaced, extra-articular distal radius fractures Some intra-articular fractures Nonunion of the thumb MCP joint (arthrodesis version)
Slide 5: Contraindications

If anything, I would have been more open to an expanded role for Beorn, rather than the Legolas/Tauriel arc.
I think we've come to a place where movies are so bad (lame propaganda written by adults who cry a lot) that yesterday's bad movies seem kind of fun by comparison.
I don't think I'll get past the fact that *The Hobbit* has the wrong tone in nearly every single scene: dramatic and scary where it should be adventurous, or silly where it should be miserable (as when they enter Mirkwood). Not to mention about half of it is an advertisement for a trilogy I've already watched.
But hey, at least it isn't about Trump.
