According to Yogic anatomy, we have two primary energetic channels: Ida (the lunar, mental, feminine channel ending in the left nostril) and Pingala (the solar, vital, masculine channel ending in the right nostril). Normally, these flow independently. During orgasm, there is a violent, uncontrolled rush of energy down the Vajra Nadi (the central channel of the reproductive system).
